The Society is a lay Catholic organisation that aspires to live the gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice, hope and joy, and by working to shape a more just and compassionate society.

At the St Vincent de Paul Society we are offering a hand up to people in need. We do it simply because we believe people matter - we believe we not only have much to share but also much to learn.
We offer people in our community a complete range of services that provide specific assistance, and focus on ensuring that the social, economic, and political pressures placed on the disadvantage are reduced in our community.
As a lay Catholic organisation, the Society does not receive any funding from the Catholic Church.
